I was honored to be asked to organise the second art biënnale of Brussels. Why fly to Venice if you're already in Brussels?
The themes Venice and Shame were announced in 2023 to a group of artists.

This Biënnale was supposed to be an answer to overcrowded art tourism to Venice.
The overall theme is SHAME
The overall theme is SHAME
Shame of flying, shame of colonialism, shame of consuming.
Sander de Wilde combines his images; photographs, found footage and drawings, into works on paper, installations and videos.
He also works around NFT and Artificial Intelligence.
His studio is situated in Brussels and can be visited on request.
Some works are sold through Saatchi and during exhibitions.
